We tried the BLT recipe from Reba Mcentire, and it is nothing we expected

Reba Mcentire Opened her first restaurant, Reba’s Place, in Oklahoma in 2023 – and since then it has been a hit. Google reviews are filled with hundreds of five-star reviews, with fans raving about the food, the atmosphere and of course the reba reminder.

So if our sister brand, “People,” I got a recipe at home for one of the elements on the menu in my hands, I knew I had to try it out. And when it was just like that, it was one BLT recipe– one of my favorite -fast and simple summer -sandwiches – I was even more excited.

How to make the BLT -Sandwich of the Reba

Surprisingly, Reba’s place does not make the menu easy to find online. They contain neither the official website nor the social media pages of the restaurant. So when I wanted to see what was offered, I had to search Facebook check-ins while some users had posted photos of the menu.

Don’t get me wrong, this sandwich was delicious, but man, it was a lot of work for a BLT. I love a BLT because it’s so easy – bacon, salad, tomato, A kind of MayoAnd your favorite bread. So it was a bit disappointing to make garlic confit and homemade Aioli, which took about two hours. Sure, after you have found that you like the recipe, you could probably divide the Aioli later for easy assembly, but two hours are a lot of time for an Aioli that you can only use for a sandwich (because I can cut the recipe into half to create only one). Again the Aioli Was Really delicious.

For someone who sings about the “single mother who works two jobs”, Mcentire has forgotten her target group here. So I think that at the end of the day I would keep myself to order this BLT from Rebas’s actual place and do mine Favorite recipe for celebrity -Blt (Joanna Gaines’) instead.
