Walmart only remembered a popular water bottle after reports on the loss of permanent eyesight
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission calls on Walmart buyer to use the use of a specific water bottle made of stainless steel exclusively on the retailer. A New message from the US CPSC announced that after several reports about the loss of permanent visual loss, Walmart called back around 850,000 ozark trail water bottles.
It is the lid that goes the most because it “can take a violent selection and risk of injury when a consumer tries to open up”. So far, Walmart has had three reports of “consumers who were injured when they were punched into the face by a lid when opening with violent bottles”. And two of these consumers “suffered permanent visual loss after they had been hit in the eyes”.
Here is everything we know about the recall and what to do when you have this water bottle.
