The sea breeze may sound like something in which Zack Morris has been ordered Saved by the bell: the college years, But that Simple cocktail dates back from almost a century. Some follow its origins on the Savoy cocktail book (1930), where bartender Harry Craddock’s “Sea Breeze Cooler” mixed gin, apricot brandy and Grenadine. Others honor a spray campaign from the middle of the century, which contributed to making the version known that we know today.
