Sami Tamimi, born in Jerusalem and raised, began his culinary career as a commis leader before becoming a chef in Lilith, a top restaurant in Tel Aviv. He moved to London in 1997, led Baker & Spice’s kitchen from the Middle East and was Mittolenghi in 2002. Sami co-car Ottolenghi: The cookbook And Jerusalemnamed New York Times’25 most influential cookbooks. His third book, PalestineWritten with Tara Wigley, Fortnum & Mason’s cookbook in 2021. His best -selling work has sold over a million copies worldwide.
