My honest evaluation of Jimmy John’s pizza roasted sandwiches
When I go to one Lower chainI tend to choose a Deli meat-SUB-in Jimmy John’s case it is either the club Lulu with turkey and bacon or a new favorite, the roasted roast beef & cheddar. However, I have to say that the roasted Three cheese -Pizza -Sandwich was my sleeper favorite of the two new U -boats.
With Gooey Mozzarella, Provolone and Parmesan cheese, you can’t go wrong with Marinara sauce on bread. And Jimmy John’s Marinara sauce is delicious. It is the perfect balance between sweet tomatoes with hearty spices.
I also enjoyed the roasted Sicilian pizza sandwich. However, I am more of a fan of Pepperoni and some vegetarian toppings on my pizza than on a bunch of meat. So the salami, capocollo and Ham were a little too much for me.
The new pizza adds are quite chaotic, but every bit cheeky, kitschy kindness.
