Donna demands a whole pound of bacon for this recipe. At first glance, I assumed that a lot of bacon would absolutely overwhelm the court. I was wrong – Donna creates a simple, creamy dressing with mayonnaise, onion, salt and pepper, which becomes the perfect coating for unpolved red new potatoes, celery, cooked eggs and this pounded pound cooked and crumbled bacon. This was by far my family’s favorite recipe. The finished dish is bright and colorful, and the ingredients merge together beautifully and create a delicate balance between textures and aromas. 10/10.
