I live about an hour away from the US limit (about an hour and a half to my favorite place Aldi, but who matters?). I am a meal ner and am thrilled with the idea of shopping for a day in the USA in some of my favorite food shops. I enjoy the fascination and joy of discovering cool, new products (there is So much more variety in the USA).
As an accomplished and price-conscious buyer who also appreciates quality, I love to come home as if I had won the lottery with my $ 100 bag exciting Groceries. There are always great finds at Aldi, especially on Wednesdays. But over the years I have discovered a few favorites that make it worth almost 2 hours every day of the week.

Park Street Deli Dill Pickle Chips
My mother was Polish, so I have to restrict this section by stating that I was born in my blood with cucumber salt. And it requires regular maintenance. Aldi’s Dill Gurle “Chips” – the fresh, non -fried potato species – are crispy, snappy cucumber rounds with a spicy, bumpy, dilly brine. They come with residual plastic tubs that resemble the favorite of all grillo. But I like it even better.
They rise everything, from sandwiches and burgers to basic crackers and cheese and are honest on their own. They are exactly the right amount of cucumber for all of their cucumber needs, and the remaining salt lake is a great marinade for chicken ships or a fantastic vinaigrette. If you do justice at all How Cucumber, do yourself a favor and climb into the cooling program -Deli section and get as many liters as you can wear.

Park Street Deli Buffalo Style cauliflower dip
This fiery turn on buffalo -chicken -Dip -Set -Set -Flower Caul for a vegetarian assumption of a cult classic. However, do not be fooled by the name. Nothing is healthy on this vegetarian dip. The first ingredient is Neufchâtel cheeseWith Cauli later on the list. But there is in there and that has to count for something! We also don’t buy it for the fiber. We buy it for the taste. And it certainly has an abundance of it. Regardless of the Cauli power, it is a powerful, creamy dip that looks perfectly for the immersion of celery, cucumber, carrot or pita chips.

Park Street Dark Dark Chocolate Dessert Hummus
At some point in recent years, hummus has hiked to the sweet side. Although I made my share of black beans brownies and chickpea blondes, I never thought that I would be a humus convert. But Aldi’s dense, fudgy dip appeases brownie dough cravings with chickpeas and coconut milk instead of empty carbohydrates. It is the perfect spread of fruit and buttery, roasted sourdough When this afternoon hits burglary. And although it is not so cute, my children feel like eating frosted.

Millville Protein Pancake Mix, Hafervielfalt
Protein is now the macronutrient of choice, with the increase in trends by cottage cheese, everything, Baked oatmealAnd eggs that are cooked in a variety of Interesting ways. But I love a good carbohydrate. And I am also someone who really has to try to get enough protein in my diet. A mix of “Just Add Water” that delivers 14 grams of protein is an easy win of the weekday.
Pro tip: Cut the water by at least a quarter cup for thicker pancakes. And I will get it into a bonus protein hack -to publish half a cup of Greek yogurt from the water and then add just enough water to get the right consistency. Since I discovered slap cheese, I will never go back to block. But the cost of this airy spread in Canada will switch off your socks and not in a good way!
