I always ask my father for this embarrassing simple salmon recipe with 4 ingredients
Perhaps many sons and daughters have the same experience: there is a dish – or maybe a couple – you can’t stop thinking about it. It is shaped by childhood, and now we cannot always shake the delicious thoughts when we see, smell or taste something like this.
For me, the recipe that I can’t stop longing is a simple salmon meal with 4 ingredients that comes from my father. I ate that Salmon recipe As long as I can remember. It is the dish that I remember that I enjoyed the most and the dinner that I want the most when I’m at home.
What are the four ingredients? Salmon, soy sauce, green onions and Jalapeños. That’s it! It is hearty, salty and a little sharp. The soy sauce is an excellent simple marinade, and the Jalapeños and green onions offer a fresh taste for every bite. Feel free to add another Jalapeño to the recipe if you want it more.
My father came across this recipe on a fishing trip along the insider, a route that extends the Pacific coast of Canada and Alaska. Chefs who worked with the Angel Expedition served the guests’ hooks for dinner, and my father loved it. He made sure that he got the recipe before he went.
How to make my father’s salmon recipe
When I say that this recipe only takes a few minutes to prepare, I don’t lie. The result is too tasty how little work flows into this recipe. Of course, high -quality salmon fillets bring the best results, as well as a thicker piece of salmon.
You will use your broiler to cook him, which is an excellent way to get delicious, scaly fish. My father recommends placing this salmon on the middle rack of her oven to avoid that Jalapeños and onions have too much burn. You want you to become a little crispy and brown, but not excessively. And like any good salmon recipe, you can never turn the salmon around during the cooking process.
This recipe can also be made at the grill at about the same time. Get your grill very hot, oil your grids and carefully put on the salmon. Cook until the salmon is scaly. Serve these salmon fillets with yours Favorite riceSuitable vegetables, potatoes or even with pasta.

Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (approx. 5 or 6 ounces)
- 1 medium or large Jalapeño
- 1 pile of green onions
- 1 cup of sodium soy sauce
Directions
- Place all 4 salmon fillets in a 9×13-inch casserole.
- Cut the jalapeños in the longitudinal direction, remove the seeds and dice. Sliced green onions and combine Jalapeños. Place Jalapeños and green onions on the fillets until they fill the top of the salmon and drop.
- Pour soy sauce directly over the fillets and do not marinate at room temperature for more than 30 minutes. A thin layer of soy sauce should be in the bottom of the baking padding.
- Place the dish in the oven and fry them for about 10 to 12 minutes or until the green onions and Jalapeños are crispy and brown and the salmon breaks slightly apart.
