Use a large, high -sided pot and add at least 500 ml or up to 1 liter of water per 100 g of dried noodles (depending on the capacity of your pan). Make sure there is still enough space at the top, as you do not want the water to rise and float.
  2. Bring the water pan to cook and add the pasta. If you like or suggest the recipe, salt the water first or add a splash of olive oil.
  3. After about 8 minutes of cooking, fishing a piece of pasta out of the pan, let it cool and taste it. When it is finished, take the pasta off the heat immediately, if not for another minute, test it again.
  4. As soon as the noodles are cooked, take it out of the water and let it dry for a minute or two before mixing it with every sauce or a dressing. If the sauce you want to use is too thick, reserve a little of the pasta water to thin it out.
  5. Lasagne leaves or cannelloni tube are manufactured so that they are baked instead of being cooked. So make sure that the sauce that shy or fill it with them is not too dry because you have to absorb some liquid when baking.
