Gin’s high drink should sip the whole summer

Spread the love

Why does it work

  • Shaking the cocktail ingredients without a club -soda ensures that the drink retains its carbon dioxide when served.

The Tom Collins comes from more than a century and a half, but it always keeps it fresh. The Tom Collins founded their own glass of the same name (tall, with plenty of space for ice) in the libational world. The drink has an aromatic gin, a fresh lemon juice, a hint of simple syrup for the sweet balance and a good watering from Club -Soda for a refreshingly bubbling quaff.

Over the years, the drink stood some challenges – excavations by Holland House Collins mingle in the spirit cabinet of my parents. Was it really that difficult to press a lemon? But the Tom Collins successfully navigates from Horse-and-Carryage Days to the digital age and is built for survival. Hold some lemon, gin and soda water at hand and you can throw together a collins if the urge can strike.
