The viral recipe that you should try before the assessment
As you can imagine, the Allrecipes employees have seen (and have) their share of viral recipes from TikTok and Instagram. Out of Salad To CookiesWe saw pretty much everything. We even tried recipes that looked like theirs Ingredients shouldn’t even go togetherJust to find out that they are usually surprisingly doing.
For this reason, when we dipped a viral recipe for spaghetti with a secret ingredient (cranberry sauce!), We knew that we had to try, even if we felt quite skeptical about this secret.
This recipe came from Sabrina Burke, Known on Tik Tok as @emma_grace.s_momAnd while she calls the recipe spaghetti with Parmesan Ricotta, the surprising appearance of the cranberry sauce is definitely what this viral recipe does. In the video, Burke combines yellow cranberry sauce with Jarred Spaghetti -Sauce And minced meat to offer a sweet kick over Angel Hair pasta.
Cranberry sauce “will give her spaghetti the most incredible taste,” says Burke in the video. “It’s like a sweet, spicy (taste). You don’t even know that it is in there. It just brings it to the next stage.”
Put cranberry spaghetti to the test
Allrecipes commissioned two of his internal experts, Nicole McLaughlin And Natalie Gravoisto test the recipe. While both were initially a bit hesitant, they found earnings in this surprising match-up.
“I think if you are a fan of sweeter spaghetti, it could work,” says McLaughlin. “I also don’t think someone would ever guess what makes it cute.”
Gravois agrees. “It would definitely be difficult to recognize, but I agree with Nicole. If you like a sweeter spaghetti, you would probably enjoy trying it!” Gravois says she enjoyed enough to bring remnants home and eat them in bed.
