  1. Collect all ingredients.

  2. Heat a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add bacon and cook with occasional stirring until most of the bacon becomes brown, about 8 minutes. Add the sausage and often cook them with stirring until bacon and sausage are crispy, 2 to 3 minutes.

  3. Add onion, peppers, celery and garlic; Often stir until it is tender, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add cabbage, salt, onion powder and black pepper; Often stir until the cabbage begins to withdraw for 2 to 3 minutes. Add diced tomatoes, hearts of the palm and broth; Stir evenly combined.

  5. Let the mixture simmer in a medium heat; Cover and cook, stirring every few minutes until the cabbage is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed for 15 to 20 minutes.
