I tried 7 popular Fast food ice cream and this is the one that I will order again and again
Some of my earliest memories of the food include that my grandfather will bring me to McDonald’s for A Vanilla Soft Serve cone. There was one of his job on our way home, and after he had spent the weekend at the weekend at the weekend, Ice cone became my regular reward.
Even now when I’m on the road or the local options are on site, I occasionally swing through the McDonald’s Drive-Thru For the same nostalgic treat. But lately, when I have a comrade, I wondered -have I missed more on better Fast Food ice cream all the years?
So I tried a few weeks over the course Ice cream From several chains. A few fell out of the crowd and it is certain to say that my favorite was not hit in childhood.
How I tested the fast food ice cream
I visited and ordered a variety of fast food restaurants Vanilla ice cream of everyone to keep the tests consistent. In order to avoid overloading taste, I was not limited to more than two stops per excursion. Some locations served soft serve, others frozen puddingBut as long as it was qualified as an ice cream, it did the cut.
While I tasted the Fast food ice cream, I focused on texture, searched for smooth, non -icy or granular ice and assessed the taste based on the balance to prefer rich, milky notes that were not overly sweet.
The best Fast Food ice creams, classified
7th place: Wendy’s
Ashia Aubourg
Wendy can be Famous for his FrostysBut the vanilla taste did not remain my expectations. The texture felt grainy and compared to other competitors it just fell flat. In addition, it was pretty cute, almost struck and had an artificial vanilla taste. For these reasons it would not be my top selection for iron ice cream.
6th place: Burger King
Ashia Aubourg
Burger King’s ice cream came perfectly and the first bite provided a smooth texture that I liked very much. Unfortunately, it did not deliver in the aroma department. Compared to some other fast food cream that I tried, I was missing that this classic vanilla taste was missing.
The chain also offers no coverings or mixes so that there is no real way to dress up or make it more exciting.
5th place: Chick-Fil-A
Ashia Aubourg
I will wait in the longest Drive-Thru line Chick-Fil-A’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich And waffle fries. When I found out that it also served ice (news for me!), I had to try and see if it deserved a place in my usual order.
The soft surcharge had a granular texture and lacked the smoothness that I had hoped for compared to some of the higher picks. Nevertheless, the vanilla taste landed well. It was not too sweet and was consistently well balanced – I only wish that the consistency corresponded to the taste.
4th place: McDonald’s
Ashia Aubourg
My story with McDonald’s vanilla cone Runs deep, so I knew exactly what would expect from this frozen pleasure. If you compare it side by side with the ice of other chains, one thing became clear: while it delivers the taste and always hits the place, it does not take the top.
I appreciate the light, airy texture of Mickey DS Soft Serve. It is full of sweet, milky notes, but the vanilla taste did not go as far as in some of the offers of the other chains.
3rd place: Shake Shack
Ashia Aubourg
In my opinion, Shake Shack serves The best Fast food burgerUndoubtedly. So when I’m near a place, I stick to my order: The Smokeshack with crispy onions, cheese fries and the seasonal lemonade that is offered. I usually skip the dessert, but after trying the frozen pudding, I might just have to rethink it.
The frozen pudding is made in your own house, and I suspect that the taste and texture stand out. The best way to describe it? This nostalgia Breyers Vanilla ice cream. The texture felt velvety and smooth, and frankly she will be my new point of contact when I visit Shake Shake.
2nd place: Sonic
Ashia Aubourg
sound is high on my list of the Fast Food stops. Between the Chicken -tender wrapChili cheese dogs and onion rings, I always find something worth ordering. This strip took before I tried the Vanilla Cup, which delivered the almost perfect vertebrae from Soft Serve.
It tasted like a thicker version of a vanilla milk shake, which it did even better. The sweet, milky aroma came through in a subtle way, and the texture remained smooth and creamy from the start to melting finish.
1st place winner: milk queen
Ashia Aubourg
Milk queen nailed his frozen treats whether it is Snow stormsImmersed cones or sonnern, so I was happy to finally try the vanilla softness of the chain itself. The first bite surprised me how airy it felt. It was light enough to dig without trying excessively rich. I also liked the creamy consistency. The classic vanilla taste came through and as soon as I tried it Mix-ins and toppings.
I am already a big fan of DQ’s onion rings and cheese quark. The next time I go on a trip to the Drive Thru, I will definitely end my food with a vanilla cone.
