The FDA announces the recall of the popular Aldi product for potential plastic contamination
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has Handled the recall of a popular Aldi dip due to potential contamination from foreign substances. More than 19,000 units of the Park Street Deli Cinnamon Bun Dessert Dip of the business have been called back because the DIP may contain plastic.
Superior Foods Company, the manufacturer of the DIP, initiated the recall on July 24th, and the FDA classified it as A Class II recallWhich means that the consumption of the product can “cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences” on August 8th.
How to identify the Aldi dip called back
The seven-month plastic tubs were sold nationwide in Aldi branches and can be identified by the UPC 4061462440151, the Lot Code 16225 and the sales date of 11-08-25.
The Cinnamon Bun Dessert -Dip from Park Street Deli is not an everyday product at Aldi, so your business may have carried it in hand at the beginning of summer. It is unclear when the recalled product was sold in Aldi shops -or if the product was recalled to the public before sale -but it is probably no longer on the shelves.
What to do if you have the Aldi dip called back
If you have the recalled Park Street Deli Cinnamon Bun Dessert Dip, don’t consume it. Instead, throw the dip away or return it to your local Aldi business for a complete reimbursement.
