The recipe “don’t knock it until you try” has a surprising ingredient
Milk shakes are reminiscent of late night guests and sunny days on the beach. If you are 12, there is apparently no cap for how much sweets you can consume, and a Milk shake is one of the best ways to get a sugar boost.
But to say that a milkshake is always a strict combination of Ice creamMilk and usual mixture like Oreos or Reese It is to be missed what else a milk shake could be. We have a recipe that was submitted by Allrecipes member Polly Rinas Janos, which is derived from the classic formula.
It doesn’t mean knocking until you try it zucchini chocolate banana -nut -milk shake. Yes, the milkshake contains zucchiniBut don’t let it put it off. Many skeptical reviewers found this combination of ingredients better than a normal Chocolate -bananas -shake– and they could be on something.
Why we love this zucchini chocolate -bananas -Milchshake
There are a few reasons why you really shouldn’t knock this milkshake until you try it. You only need six ingredients – and I bet most of them are already in their kitchen: ripe BananaZucchini, half a and a half, white granulated sugar, chopped peanuts and cocoa powder.
When Zucchini gives them a break in a milkshake, it also happened to me – and for many reviewers who found this drink to be smashed. The milk shake tastes similar to a banana splitting. Ideal for a hot day in summer or for picking up if a full meal does not appear correct. This shake can make it possible for you to enjoy something sweet without needing a nap.
In addition, there is really only one step if you use a mixer that includes all ingredients at the same time smooth and creamy. You can garnish the milk shake with more peanuts, if desired, and a special load such as whipped cream and chocolate flakes.
Common praise
- “This is the first time that I check a recipe because I wanted to wait until I met something really fabulous!” Reviewer Jennifer Geibel. “This recipe was fantastic!”
- “Thank you for a wonderful idea of adding a diligator grated frozen zucchini! My super key 13-year-old had no idea that he was drinking a zucchini milk shake,” says the reviewer chef Wyle E. Coyote.
- “Okay, I have to admit that I was skeptical and that I decided to try this just to pull you over my children. But I have to admit, that was really good,” says Allrecipes member Omnimomma. “It tastes like a milk shake shared with bananas, but it gave me the opportunity to increase the vegetarian portions they eat. I will definitely do it again because I seem to be able to keep ice cream in the house!”

How to replace ingredients
- Use peanut butter instead of peanuts. This gives the milkshake a thicker, creamier texture than peanuts and a more pronounced peanut butter taste. If that is your thing, try it out!
- Try an alternative sugar. Several reviewers use two or three tablespoons of honey instead of white sugar. Other alternatives are maple syrup, agave or granulated options such as monk fruit sweetener or coconut sugar.
- Change milk. While this recipe builds a thick milkshake consistency after half and half structure, some opt for the use of whole milk or almond milk. A reviewer even used evaporated milk.
- No cocoa powder? No problem. Replace this ingredient with A Chocolate syrup.
