The Salsa recipe to make my friends so easy to make – and only 4 ingredients
There is a local Mexican restaurant in which baskets are served Homemade tortilla chips With a tray Salsas, Queso and Guacamole, they call “the whole Enchilada”. Every time we order this aromatic display – which is often, my warm, salted chips avoid the Tomatillo and the spicy red iterations and go directly into the smoky, rich bowl chipotle cashew salsa. At first I thought no, thank you, I don’t need this strange nutsalsa that mix with my Tacos and Enchiladas. But after a particularly delicious batch, I longed for the salsa – all time.
The search for this irresistible restaurant Salsa
I couldn’t get this dreamy, beige, nutty salsa out of my head. And my husband couldn’t. If I were asking other locals whether they had the cashew salaries, their eyes would grow far and they would start to save and rave this dip immediately. So I knew I wasn’t crazy. It was really The Good.
How nice would it be to have a glass of this salsa in my fridge at home? I could pull it out for Taco Night Or enjoy it for lunch with a quick homemade Nacho plate. I started to experiment, soak cashew nuts, pulsate and mix, liquid smoke, paprika, smoky salts, a little sugar, a press to add lime. It became a personal persecution. But it took a while.
After many attempts – and the discovery of magical small doses of Chipotle pepper in Adobo -Sauce-I has perfected the smooth consistency and smoke -like balance. A large batch of this dip of four ingredients can be made for less than $ 10 and serves as a delicious Taco night and summer grill companion.
