The FDA announces the yoghurt call for a possible plastic contamination nationwide

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that Danone issued us a Voluntary recall by Yocrunch yoghurt products that are sold nationwide due to the potential presence of plastic pieces in the Dome -Topper. Small plastic fragments that are contained in the separately packaged yogurt topping can be a suffocating danger.
The recall was initiated on July 11, 2025 after the consumers reported to find plastic pieces in the biscuit, sweets and cereal topper that are mixed in the yoghurt tank. These fragments are transparent, can have sharp edges and have a size between 7 and 25 millimeters, which is a potential security risk.
How to identify the called Yocrunch products
The recall affects all flavors and sizes of Yocrunch products that are currently available in shops, including those that are sold at Walmart, General and Target together with regional food chains. The toppers offer M&MS, Oreos, Twix, Snickers, cookie dough pieces and muesli.
The called yogurts contain Lot #/Degree Data from July 7 to September 4, 2025 in the following flavors:

What to do if you have the remembered Yococrunch
According to Danone US’s Press release“The company quickly works with retail partners to remove the affected product from the shelves while working to tackle the problem and bring back the Yocrunch products that enjoy so many people.”
