1. Chips
Chips are one of the most popular foods that can cook in an air fryer for good reason. Although it feels like the second nature to hit a tray with frozen chips in the oven, an air fryer will do a much better job and make it golden and crispy outside, in the middle soft and significantly lower than their fried colleagues.
Anna Glover, Good Food’s Food Director, is an Air Freyer convert and often cooks frozen chips in them: “Frozen chips cook much even more even in an air fryer than on a baking sheet in the oven, due to the uniform, consistent high temperatures, but also by regularly shaking the basket,” says She. “On a baking sheet in the oven, the middle ones tend to vapor and over cook, no matter how often they throw them around!”

2. Tofu
Do you often have difficulty fried, crispy tofu? Tofu can be difficult to get right, and often becomes damp or boring when they are fried or baked. In the air fryer, Tofu cubes or batons become crispy from the outside, while they remain tender inside.
Anna also believes that the Air Fryer is the right way. “Tofu can often stick to baking bowls and, due to its high water content in the oven, not very easily crispy before it gets rubber -like,” she says. “Air fryers are a great option to give your tofu additional crispness without having to add a lot of oil by roasting.”

3. Chicken leg
Are you looking for a quick way to get juicy meat with a delicious crispy skin? Chicken legs benefit greatly from the air roast and produce sculant chicken with crackling skin – something that can be difficult to achieve in a conventional oven without drying out the meat.
“The high temperatures of air fryers ensure that they get the right crispy chicken skin,” says Anna. “If you cook in the air roasting basket, the juices released from the chicken do not bundle around the base of the chicken, while they are captured below and can be added to sauces and gravies, but without dusting the chicken pieces that prevent the skin from chopping.”

4. Fried vegetables
If you have a few remaining vegetables from an earlier meal – think of peppers, zucchini and tomatoes – sometimes it can feel like a waste to turn on the oven to heat a few scrap. But a brief entry into the air fryer is changed, which leads to a crispy texture that is a little charred on the edges and is still tender inside. The even heat also means that you don’t have to turn the vegetables any further to achieve even results.
“If you set small vegetable residues in the air fryer, I waste less food because I am more tried to consume things and save energy without turning on the oven,” says Anna.
5. Salmon
Cooking salmon fillets faster and easier can be finished in the air fryer in less than 10 minutes and develop a perfectly crispy skin and a moist interior. The air roast also reduces the risk of overcooking, a common problem when roasting or baking pans, which leads to salmon, which are both juicy and tasty. Talk about a game channel during the week.
“It is not necessary to heat the air fryer, which means that your food is cooked faster instead of waiting for the oven to warm up,” says Anna.

6. Halloumi
Halloumi is famous for its squeaky texture and can often be rubbery or oily when they are fried. Especially in the Holoumi fries are delicious to eat, but often quite difficult to cook – this is because you have to cook in small batches in a pan to ensure that you have space for crispy edges for any time, as well as enough time to make you make sure that you do not burn. For this reason, Halloumi is best cooked in the trustworthy air fryer and reaches a golden, crispy appearance with a soft center. “You can all cook them together in an air fryer, and warmth from all sides means less around and turns,” says Anna.

7. Pig belly
Pig belly is estimated for its combination of juicy, tender meat and crispy crackling. This makes it perfect for a Christmas heart and for the next box connections on the game closure. The producer of the food content, Helena Busiakiewicz, believes that the air fryer has reached faster and with fewer chaos than oven roast when creating this contrast. “It makes really crispy crackling – I start with 200 ° C and then reduce to 160 ° C, and it means juicy meat and really crispy crackling very quickly!”
